One Classroom,
Many Learning Levels

In many Indian classrooms, students sit side by side but learn at vastly different levels—some are up to five grades behind. This wide variation makes it nearly impossible for teachers to teach a single curriculum effectively. As a result, academically weaker students often make no progress at all, despite regular attendance. Without targeted support, the gap only grows each year.

Students in the same grade can be five to six grade levels apart in actual ability, making it nearly impossible for teachers to follow a one-size-fits-all approach.

Remedial education

Research shows that weaker students often learn nothing at all under the status quo—despite regular school attendance.

In reality, most students fall behind early and continue to fall further every year.

What Users Say About PAL

PAL helps to meet student-specific learning needs by adapting educational content through technology.

I have seen many students light up with enthusiasm in Swift PAL Lab. I am amazed at how PAL identifies the learning gaps of each child and provides the right level of exercises and content. I know students who were struggling with basic Math and Hindi but are confidently improving in my class exams. I am happy with PAL.

In Mind spark, I get questions that match my level. When I make a mistake, it explains it to me. That’s why I learn better.

I wait for Mindspark class every day. It feels like a game but I learn so much from it.

Tulna 2.0: Standards for what good EdTech looks like

EdTech-Tulna is a research-backed evaluation index that defines “what good EdTech looks like” for the K-12 segment. Developed by experts at IIT-B and IIT-D, it assesses product design across three core dimensions: Content, Pedagogy, and Technology (CPT) and is supported by a comprehensive and practical toolkit. Tulna standards enable governments, investors, and companies to select effective, scalable EdTech that drives real learning outcomes.
