One Classroom,
Many Learning Levels

In many Indian classrooms, students sit side by side but learn at vastly different levels—some are up to five grades behind. This wide variation makes it nearly impossible for teachers to teach a single curriculum effectively. As a result, academically weaker students often make no progress at all, despite regular attendance. Without targeted support, the gap only grows each year.

Students in the same grade can be five to six grade levels apart in actual ability, making it nearly impossible for teachers to follow a one-size-fits-all approach.

Learning levels
Remedial education

Research shows that weaker students often learn nothing at all under the status quo—despite regular school attendance.

In reality, most students fall behind early and continue to fall further every year.

What Users Say About PAL

PAL helps to meet student-specific learning needs by adapting educational content through technology.

Students light up with enthusiasm in Swift PAL Lab. I am amazed at how PAL identifies the learning gaps of each child and provides the right level of exercises and content. Many of my students who were struggling with basic Math and Hindi are now confidently improving in class exams.

Knowledge Brief on Data Security in the context of Personalized Adaptive Learning (PAL)

In this brief, we will understand data security during Personalized Adaptive Learning (PAL) implementation under the ambit of the national governing provisions that apply to PAL and all such interventions where data collection happens. We will look at how the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023 applies in the context of PAL implementation — key roles defined under the Act, how these roles are assigned in different PAL implementation models, and responsibilities of governments and PAL providers.
